Another great turnout and a nice variety of topics. Thanks to the speakers, attendees and newcomers! Again we wrapped up with some chatter and a couple of drinks, this time downstairs in the Global Cafe at RISC.
Another good turnout and a nice variety of topics. Unfortunately Rick couldn't make it due to illness so we'll have his "Recruitment in Perl, and the Perl Academy" talk next time. Again we wrapped up with some chatter and a couple of drinks across the road. Many thanks to Opsview for hosting this meeting and providing yummy cakes!
We had a great turnout (12, I think) and two excellent talks: one from Iain about enhancements to an open source game he helps on, and another from Alex about improving profiling and optimizing Perl applications. We wrapped up with some chatter and a couple of drinks across the road. Many thanks to Opsview for hosting this meeting.
